Testimonials

In the past, I always used to help people in need. Recently I thought of a more efficient way: this is why I joined BNA. It is one of the most fulfilling things I have ever experienced: helping patients directly or indirectly through our activities is really amazing; just seeing them happy and healthy is worth everything we do.

You would think you are helping people by volunteering but they end up helping you in so many ways.BNA is a family, a true one. Being surrounded by such amazing people has been an inspiration for me to always be positive and humble.

In addition to the hope of helping those who are suffering and need medicine, when volunteering I feel true satisfaction and joy.

Being a volunteer at Barbara Nassar Association has taught me a lot; it also gave me the opportunity to meet some wonderful people. Barbara Nassar Association is not just an NGO: it’s my second family.

I joined BNA because I wanted to help cancer patients with their struggles; little did I know that I was joining a family, a big happy family. I don’t consider myself a volunteer in an NGO; Barbara Nassar Association is my second family where everyone is filled with positivity and happiness.

I have never experienced anything like this before, not to mention that helping patients gives us the most rewarding experience! Patients give us hope and faith in our lives; this is why every little thing we do is filled with love and I think this is what makes us special.

When I first started my volunteering work with Barbara Nassar Association, three years ago I thought it was only a reaction to the painful process I passed through during my mom’s sickness. My mom is now a cancer survivor due to the unwavering care and attention that she took from doctors and most importantly from her family and friends. Now, my commitment to the mission of the association is not only emotional; I am now fully aware of the impact of this association in helping cancer patients who shouldn’t only have the right to receive their medical care, but have the right to receive it with dignity.

I am proud that I am committed to an association that will help soothe the pain of as many cancer fighters as possible and for me this is very rewarding.

Don't miss out on this incomparable feeling of compassion, power and strength that you get by contributing to the well-being of others. Join Barbara NassarAssociation!!

Volunteering at Barbara Nassar Association has been one of the most rewarding experiences I have ever had the opportunity to engage in. Although I have volunteered in other areas, this position fills my heart with gratitude for the opportunity to feel as thing I am really making a difference. There’s nothing in the world like the feeling of giving back, helping others and drawing a smile on their faces.
